TAKE NOTICE that the Regular Town Board Meeting will be held by the Greenwich Town Board at 6:00 pm November 8th, 2023 at 2 Academy St., Greenwich, NY followed by a public hearing at 7:00 pm for Fire Contracts and 7:15pm for the Preliminary Budget for the purpose of obtaining public comment on proposed Fire Contracts and the 2024 Preliminary Budget.

PLEASE BE ADVISED that Town of Greenwich Highway Superintendent Stan Mattison Jr. has designated the following road to be a Seasonal Road;
Larmon Road from Anthony Road to Lick Springs Road.
This road will be closed to traffic from November 1, 2023, until April 1, 2024.

Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan Update to be held October 16th at 6:00 p.m.
On Monday, October 16th
at 6:00 p.m. the Town and Village of Greenwich will hold a Public Hearing on the Town and Village of Greenwich Comprehensive Plan Update. The hearing will be held at Greenwich Town Hall (2 Academy
Street).
At this hearing, the public is invited to provide feedback on the final draft of the comprehensive plan.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL (Pursuant to Section 506 and 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Hearing of Complaints
Notice is hereby given that the Sole Assessor of the Town of Greenwich County of Washington, has completed the TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL, for the current year, and that a copy has been left with the town clerk at Greenwich Town Hall, where it may be seen, examined by any interested person until the fourth Wednesday in May.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the tentative assessment roll on
May 11th between 9-1 pm
May 13th between 8-12 pm
May 16th between 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm
May 18th between 9-1 pm
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Wednesday, May 24th, 2023 between the hours of 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Greenwich Town Hall, 2 Academy Street, in said town, to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, on the written application of any person believing himself to be aggrieved.

Area Variance Application #2023-01 - Submitted by Joseph Sharpe, representing Douglas Shaver, concerning property located at 12 Tracy Drive, Greenwich. NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF TAX ROLL AND WARRANT
TAKE NOTICE, that I, Kimberly E. Whelan, the undersigned Collector of Taxes of the Town of Greenwich, County of Washington and State of New York, have duly received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes within the Town of Greenwich for the year 2023. I will attend my office at 2 Academy Street, Greenwich, NY, beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2023 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fridays from 8 a.m. till 12 Noon, excepting Saturdays, Sundays and holidays for the purpose of receiving the taxes listed on said roll.
TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that taxes may be paid on or before January 31, 2023 without interest. On all taxes received after such date, there shall be added interest of 1% if paid on or before February 28, 2023 and an additional 1% for each additional month or fraction thereof until such taxes are paid or until the return of unpaid taxes to the County Treasurer, pursuant to law.

NOTICE, at the June 14th Regular meeting the Town Board of the Town of Greenwich voted to change the start time of the regular monthly Town Board meetings from 7:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. beginning at the July 12th meeting. Regular Board Meetings are held at the Town Office located at 2 Academy St., Greenwich, NY on the second Tuesdays of the month unless otherwise noted.
Notice of Intent to request designation of Greenwich Brownfield Opportunity Area.
The Village and Town of Greenwich are hereby providing Notice of Intent to nominate portions of the Village and Town of Greenwich in the Brownfield Opportunity Areas (BOA) Program to the New York State, Department of State for official designation. Successful designation of the Greenwich BOA will make available additional Brownfield Tax Credits for eligible projects and give project grant or financing applications priority and preference from State, Federal, and local agencies as allowed by law.
