Public Works
In Greenwich public works are provided by Village, Town and County employees.
In the Village, the Public Works Department maintains the Village streets, sidewalks and with the help of community volunteers, the parks. Trash pickup is on Thursday or Friday (excepting holidays). A yearly clean-up week is held every spring. Following heavy snow, the Department plows and sands the sidewalks.
There is a County run recycling / transfer station on Bald Mountain Road.
